And with quality, in each edition, to present last-generation benchmarks and future perspectives in terms of sports, businesses and culture. With this philosophy, established since the first edition, in 1983, Sports Business is currently a national and international reference for those who want to be in the front line of major endeavors.

Sports Business is proud to have a considerable share in this history. It has continuously brought to Brazil prominent figures in sports, industry and trade, and quickly earned the trust from directors, athletes, media and officials in Brazil and other countries, being established as an event respected worldwide.

The quality of the athletes who, year after year, were present in competitions and lectures on martial arts, aerobics, skateboarding, among many other sports, can be summarized in the presence of a few names, such as Alexander Popov, Olympic swimming winner; Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mister Universe and seven times Mister Olympia winner, the biggest name in bodybuilding worldwide; and Rogério Sampaio, judo wrestler who won a gold medal in the Barcelona Olympics.

International lecturers from companies and institutions such as IAKS (International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities), investors such as ISPO and ESB (from Germany), confederations and federations, worldwide leaders in medicine announcing Genome and Anti-aging, and, in parallel, the highly anticipated Sports Equipment and Sports Service Fair, identify the event’s commitment to its quality.

In 2010, another considerable step in this history was given, with the reinvention of its Visual Communication and the development of a new format, a progress already copied by the Congress industry in Brazil, presenting current global leaders involved in success cases and the development of the sports market.

In its 28th edition, the evolution continues and the focus now is on Brazil’s considerable challenge to maximize opportunities and minimize risks from the major development peak to be face ahead. It is the worldwide acknowledgement to the country’s capacity as a sports and economy power.
